You've been cleaning houses, fixing cars, baking cakes, or cutting hair for years. People trust your work. What you need now is the legal structure, the pricing math, and the brand that lets a stranger find you, trust you, and pay you.
$499 one-time. No hidden fees. No sales call.
The nurse running a 12-patient ward is doing operations management. The mechanic diagnosing a failing transmission is doing root cause analysis. The cleaner who kept six clients for three years built a referral engine without knowing the term. You have the skills. You never had someone name them in a business context.
"I'm good at what I do, but I have no idea how to make it an official business. Who am I to charge for this? I don't know where to start with the LLC, the taxes, the insurance."
The legal paperwork is simpler than you think. The pricing math is solvable in one session. The brand is what you already are, made visible. You're not missing the skill. You're missing the system.
You don't need a cheerleader or a motivational speech. You need a blueprint, a weekly assignment, a deadline, and someone who speaks your language. Then you need to do the work.

I learned on the production floor that skipping a step now always costs you more later. That's why every phase has a checkpoint, and you don't move forward until the work is solid.
Build the foundation. Form the LLC. Get your EIN. Open the bank account. Set up tax savings. Build the pricing model. Package what you sell into tiers. Nothing faces the public yet.
Checkpoint before you go publicTalk to real customers. Validate demand. Build a brand a stranger can trust. Set up your website, payment processing, and Google Business Profile. Get your first reviews.
Checkpoint before you launchRun the business. Marketing running. Revenue tracked weekly. Monthly check-ins for a full year. You're in the driver's seat. The system runs.
No final test. From here, it's yours.LLC formed. EIN obtained. Insurance applied. Contracts drafted. Your business exists legally before it exists publicly.
Pricing built from market data. Break-even calculated. The monthly number where your business covers all its costs, defined and documented.
Name cleared. Website live with transparent pricing. Google Business Profile set up. You look like what you're worth.
Review system running. Photos documenting every job. Positioned where your customers already look.
You quote prices without flinching. You follow up. You close because you're confident in what you built.
Weekly cadence for someone working full-time. 10 hours a week, split however fits your schedule. Evenings, weekends, lunch breaks. The system adapts to your shift.
Six templates every side hustler needs. No sales pitch. No upsell. Just the tools. If they help you, tell someone. If you want the full system later, we'll be here.
After our Coffee Chat, I build a customized Builder's Playbook for your specific market. Real competitive data, real pricing research, outreach scripts you can use that day, and a 7-day action plan. You also get the Builder's Guide explaining exactly what the 90-day sprint looks like. Both are yours to keep, whether you enroll or not.
The most obvious thing that nobody teaches is transparency and true humility. Instead of cosplaying an expert who has all the solutions, show the client that they're the expert and you're merely the guide.
Al Gibson, FounderI started at U.S. Steel Gary Works in 1996 as a hot metal test sampler.
Over the years I worked a lot of positions: ladle utilityman, casthouse helper, gas washer, skimmer operator, QBOP furnace operator, and then Melter Supervisor. I moved around a lot, not because I was aimless, but because I was picking up everything the plant was teaching me.
By the time I left in 2023, I was a Senior Shift Manager running two shifts in the QBOP, leading a 72-person crew converting iron into 13,500 tons of liquid steel a day. Over 100 grades. Customer specs down to the molecule. My most proud accomplishment was the year my team achieved a .048 recordable injury rate against a 1.13 goal.
I didn't learn business from a textbook. I learned it from a charge floor where a mistake costs millions of dollars and can kill someone.
In 2023 I made a decision that scared me. After 27 years of swing shifts in Northwest Indiana, I retired from U.S. Steel, married my wife Jessica, and moved to Minnesota. It was time to build something for myself. And for people like me.
Now I need to tell you about my son.
Devyn was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2020 and received a heart transplant in 2022. He passed away in January 2025 from complications of sudden heart failure. He was the kind of person who would give you what he had, even when he didn't have much. His spirit is the reason FORDEV exists. The "DEV" in FORDEV is for him.
I have the same genetic heart condition. I've had two heart attacks. The first was a widowmaker in October 2023. My left anterior descending artery was 99% blocked. The survival rate outside a hospital is 10%. I shouldn't have survived either one. But I'm still here, and both of them gave me clarity. I don't take a single day for granted. And I won't waste your time.
You're already the expert. You have always been the expert. You don't need someone to teach you how to work. You need someone who speaks your language, who has stood on the same kind of floor you stand on, and who can hand you the system that makes your expertise visible.
Full refund before your first session. No questions asked.
We ran a closed beta with 4 Builders. All spots filled. Two filed their LLCs in Week 1. The sprint is now open at $499. After this cohort graduates, the price moves to $2,500. Same system. Same commitment. The only thing that changes is the number.
